At first, I was hesitant to start With Audrey.  It made me nervous putting my writing out there for the world to see.  I had all kinds of doubts about whether or not I was the blogger “type” or if anyone would read what I wrote, but eventually, I went for it.  I started a blog and I’m so glad I did.  Here are some of the excuses I tried to give myself and why they’re not relevant anymore. I don’t know what to write about.   The biggest hurdle for so many of us bloggers is starting.  Just start writing.  There are tons of prompts and resources out there designed to inspire you- use them!  Pinterest and other blogs are my favorite places to go.  And if nothing gets your creativity started, write about your life.  You would be surprised how many people are interested in things that you see as ordinary. People won’t care what I have to say. This is just not true.  Maybe everybody won’t care, but some people do!  Even if you start with only getting the word out to your family and friends, I’m sure they would be thrilled to support you.  And besides, if you’re writing for the sole purpose of popularity- you won’t get far.  Blog for them a little, but mostly blog for you.
